Two “15-minute life circles” in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district recently made the 2025 list of “15-Minute Life Circles of Suzhou”, praised for their diverse, wide-coverage considerate services for residents.

The 15-minute life circle in Jintang Community provides convenience to about 8,800 long-term residents within an area of about two square kilometers. It boasts 44 basic support outlets, about 80 service outlets for improving the quality of life and nine intelligent service outlets.

Within the “circle”, there are spaces for playing chess and cards, reading, seeking health services and learning about science. Public-benefit events such as free medical service events and environmental campaigns are frequently held under the collaboration of the community committee, social organizations, volunteers and charity organizations.

The life circle centered on Dushu Lake Neighborhood Center is also on the list. The center houses breakfast diners, outlets offering handy services such as electrical appliance repairing and haircut, drugstore, cultural activity center, fitness center and a service station for delivery workers. It benefits about 30,000 people living in the area with a radius of about one kilometer.
